Enhancing Personal Performance in 2024; Interview on the "Way of Will John" Podcast; Pro Poker & Golf Tips & More!

I hope you’re having a great start this new year!
Goals are very much in the front of our mind and give us the day-to-day drive and focus to do the stuff we do. In my previous newsletter around Christmas, “About Luck, How To Keep Your New Year Resolutions & More!”, we discussed the process of setting goals effectively.
I'm thrilled to open up and share with you the very strategies, tips, and tools that I am personally using to make 2024 my biggest year yet. The strategies shared are not just theoretical; they are practical steps you can start implementing right now. They are EXACTLY what I am using to achieve my goals this year.
In 2023, my major goal was to reduce my ego as much as I could and I told myself that's going to be tough. Well it has been tough but it's better than it was, and I'd say compared to most people, I think my ego probably is pretty lowkey.
In 2024, I'm going to add to it and I'm going to listen more, not only to myself but particularly I'm going to listen more to all the people that I come into contact with. When you're focusing outwards on the person in front of you, you become very observant and I think you become rather intuitive because the two of you might even be linked.
In the last chapter in my last book the Psychoic Revolution, I tried to end the book on a simple little message for enhancing personal performance. You just need to remember three things:
Let go of ego
Listen more and
Talk less
Not only does this offer the greatest opportunity of enhancing personal performance, but at the same time offers suggestions to reduce stress and anxiety.

To me as a therapist, the client will tell me pretty much everything that I need to know to be able to help move them forward when we’re well connected. The secret to making this connection is listening. Often, it’s not the words that people use but it's the way they use them and the context they use them that can show you the part of the brain that this voice is coming from. As a result, we can raise our public performance, find the flow state more easily, and our mental health just might improve too.
